SS Rajamouli’s title confusion; Here’s what RRR really is titled

Image
For months now we have all been wondering what  RRR , the title of S S Rajamouli’s film meant. It turns out that the maverick director was trying to get the rights of the title Raghupati Raghav Rajaram . Having failed to acquire it, the  RRR  acronym was given another interpretation altogether. The RRR  now stands for  Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi (and never mind if those words are in the English language). In Telugu it is Roudram Ranam Rudhiram and in Tamil it is Irattam Ranam Relattiram . All the conflicting multi-lingual interpretations to the RRR  acronym could be a problem. Rajamouli’s film titles have always been pithy, mostly one-worded like Eega , Magadheera, Baahubali . This is the first time he has selected multiple titles in different languages for the same film. Could be a matter of conflict for the film’s box office interests? Also Read:  S.S. Rajamouli takes Baahubali series to Pakistan and here are the details from Latest...

Katrina Kaif opts out of Vikas Bahl’s film?

Katrina Kaif was all but finalized for the female lead in Vikas Bahl’s next. But then a day after the announcement she apparently denied saying yes to the project. Sources say Katrina had indeed been finalized for Bahl’s film. But she had not anticipated a backlash. Vikas, it may be recalled, had been accused of sexual misconduct two years ago by an employee of Phantom Films of which Bahl was one of the helmers. Bahl had been cleared of the charge by the internal complaints committee of the production house Reliance Entertainment (Phantom Films was affiliated to Reliance) in 2019. Katrina Kaif, sources say, was told that Bahl’s name had been cleared of the charges. She therefore agreed to be in his next film. But when faced with a backlash on social media she quickly withdrew herself from the film, leaving Vikas project with a big question mark. Will any A-list heroine agree to work with him?
